Affirmation cards

I was inspired to make these cards from Artist Nichole Rae. I bought her book because it spoke to me. It is simple...and elegant...and easy to follow. And, I wanted to find art that I could share with others. So...now I have started mailing them out to friends and family ~smiles~ Sharing my art is important to me. I get just as much satisfaction giving it away...as I do making it. These cards are finding there way out into the world. 

In the last month, I have been surfing the web….reading blogs….watching tutorials…looking for inspiration to feed this burning need inside of me to be more creative this year. I have a need to be creative….to write…to paint…to get messy…and express myself. So, I thought…why not my own blog? Not that I truly have anything wise…inspirational…or profound to say….but, it is a place to just post my random thoughts. ~And boy aren’t they random at times!~

As I start my first post…Words of wisdom from WordPress appeared- “If you like, use this post to tell readers why you started this blog and what you plan to do with it.”

Why did i start this blog? Because for the first time in a very long time, I have this overwhelming desire to write. Nothing in particular…just feel my fingers flying over the keyboard…and typing anything that comes to mind.

What do I plan to do with it? At this point, nothing very exciting…

Just a place to post ….my life, my thoughts, my creative process.
